A Touch of Ink Hummingbird Card

I made this card with the Sale-A-Bration set  Touch of Ink.  I began by stamping the hummingbird, then masking it so I could ink blend the background using Seaside Spray and Misty Moonlight inks  

I stamped the flowers in Memento Black ink and used a water painter with ink from Petal Pink, Flirty Flamingo and Poppy Parade ink pads.  

Be careful not to pull the black ink from the Memento black image into the flower.  You could also use StazOn Black. This ink won’t run when mixed with water.  I wasn’t sure if I was going to watercolor or use alcohol marchers when I started the project. 

I also used the Tin Tile 3D embossing folder to add the texture to the card.  

The white seam binding ribbon finished off the card.
