Blends Alcohol Marker and Vellum Technique

Have you tried this technique? It is easy and you get beautiful, unique results every time!  You will need a piece of vellum, a paint brush, Stampin Blends and isopropyl alcohol at 91% or higher.

Spread patches of color on your vellum using the Blends markers. Then dip the paint brush in the alcohol and dab it in the color.  It will react to the makers and the color will spread.

Allow a few minutes for it to dry and use it like you would use any specialty paper.

For the first card, I used the Read Red and Misty Moonlight Blends. I also used the gold leafing and multi-purpose glue to add veining. The sentiment is from the Banner Year set

For the second card, I used Misty Moonlight and Balmy Blue Bends. The flowers are from the Color and Contour bundle and the small sentiment is from the Many Messages bundle.
